Resicove Polyurethane Coving Mortar

Resincoat resicove epoxy coving mortar is easy to apply and can be feather edged for a professional finish. The formula has a natural grey concrete appearance curing to an incredibly high strength for guaranteed durability. The formula boasts excellent chemical resistance as standard resisting most dilute acids, alkalis, oils and petrol. Preparation: 

Before use of this product we recommend any hole or defected concrete should be thoroughly cleaned using a wire brush and vacuumed to remove any remaining dust or dirt. For particularly weak, dusty or flaking surfaces we recommend the use of Resincoat tack coat. This will seal the surface and ensure a good bond to the subsequent coving. 

Application:

1. Mix part A & B together for 1 - 2 minutes

2. Gradually add part C to the resins using a mortar drill until a stiff mix is achieved

3. Begin to apply the mixed formula using a coving trowel using a consistent procedure

*Please note, if using Resincoat Tack Coat as a primer:

The Tack Coat should only be left for a few hours until it is 'tacky'. If the Tack Coat stays on until fully cured, adhesion will start to reduce.

Curing:

Please use the below curing times as a guideline:

24 hours @ 20°C for light foot traffic

48 hours @ 20°C for vehicle traffic

7 day cure @20°C is recommended prior to exposure to chemicals

*Temperatures below 20°C will have a slower minimum cure time
