Resincoat Caravan Paint

Resincoat metal garage door paint has been designed with durability in mind. This single pack coating is tough & flexible so movement in garage doors panels will not cause the coating to crack. The coating has been specially formulated to provide outstanding colour stability, ensuring your garage door remains looking stylish for many years, without the worry of fading. Manufactured in the UK the formula has engineered flow characteristics; it will flow over the surface easily, without running once applied & with minimal roller spatter. The paint is offered in 3 on trend colours allowing you to revamp your garage door creating a modern, stylish appearance.

Coverage rates are approximate & depend upon the substrate.

1L- covers up to 11m²

Preparation:

Before applying our coating please ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned, defects (including rust) made good by sanding and filling where necessary. For the best key we recommend a gentle sand with fine grit paper. Dust, dirty & debris should be removed, before a wipe down with a normal cleaning solvent such as methylated spirit.

Primer:

Before applying this product your substrate should be suitably primed. We strongly recommend the use of our Garage Door Paint Primer. 

Application:

Brush/Roller:
1. Ensure the surface has been primed with Resincoat Garage Door Paint Primer

2. Allow 4 hours for the primer to cure

3. Stir product thoroughly, before and during use 

4. Begin to apply the product using your brush or roller 

5. Allow paint to dry for 24 hours

6. Apply second coat of paint (if required)

7. Leave for 24 hours to dry 

Spray Gun:

1. Ensure the surface has been primed with Resincoat Garage Door Paint Primer

2. Allow 4 hours for the primer to cure

3. Follow spray gun manufacturers instructions to thin the coating for the relevant spray system being used. Please note the paint can be thinned up to 10% 

4. Begin to apply the product

5. Allow paint to dry for 24 hours

6. Apply second coat of paint (if required)

7. Leave for 24 hours to dry 

 *Please note it is important to ensure your substrate does not get wet in between coats
