Resincoat Chemical Resistant Bund Sealer is perfect for use in chemical plants, boiler rooms and various other applications where a waterproof seal with chemical properties is a top priority. The formula is a two-part epoxy which will adhere to many types of substrate including metals, concrete and wood. This product will protect against spillages from a wide range of chemicals including oils, petrols, diesel, acids, alkalis and more. By creating a waterproof seal and a long-lasting damp proof effect, this product is also great for sealing cracks and joints in damaged concretes.

 

Preparation & Application: 

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contamination. Mix both components thoroughly until homogeneous and apply with rollers and brushes within 30 minute pot life. Allow to cure and apply second coat if required.

Top Job

Light grey version used to seal domestic 2,500L oil tank brick bund. Goes on well with very little mess due to high viscosity. Bought two smaller tins. Actual pot life was 45mins at 10C. Mixing paddle essential. Used 4" rollers to easily get into all corners.

Purchased due to its chemical resistance. We have had other product from Resincoat in the past & they have always been of high quality. This was no different 1 coat was sufficient however it is worth checking with the tech team who offer great advice!
