Resincoat Liquid Rubber Roofing 20m² Bundle

Resincoat liquid rubber roofing is ideal for nearly all roof surfaces, even damaged ones. The product will flow into the most inaccessible areas creating a tough, durable, hard wearing, chemical resistant and a seamless ‘shape memory’ elastomeric membrane.

The movement of the roof through expansion, contraction and vibration will not affect the integrity of this product. The ability to stretch to 1000% of its original mass and its cold liquid application by brush, roller or spray makes this item a leader in its field. onmentally friendly finish.

This product is ready for use on Flat Roofs, Weathered Asphalt and Bituminous Surfaces, Concrete, Brickwork, Weathered Plys, OSB/Plywood, Wooden Substrates and EPDM.

Not for use on tanking, fishponds, new lead, plastisol coated substrates or internal use.

 Single coat: minimum of 1Kg/m2 / 1 litre/m2

The curing time for this product is up to 8 hours or overnight depending on temperature and conditions. Full cure up to 7 days. We advise you check the weather conditions prior to applying this product and avoid application in extreme weather conditions. Always apply this product on a dry surface. Application temperature should be between 5°C-25°C.

Preparation –

Before application of this product we advise you fully clean the roof surface to make sure it is free from dust, dirt, oils, surface flaking, poorly bonded or glossy paint, sealers, varnishes, salts or any other contaminants. Any damaged surfaces must be fully repaired prior to application. Please note your surface must be completely dry before application of this product, it cannot be applied on wet or damp surfaces. 

Highly porous/friable surfaces may require the use of a primer before coating with this product. We advise to inspect and carry out an adhesion test on any existing porous surface or substrate prior to application of the coating.

Surface Preparation with Geotextile Tape –

All joints, seams, cracks, vents etc must be bridged with Geo fabric as per the instructions. All joints, e.g. of torch-on membrane, sheet metal, vertical and horizontal transitions, must be additionally reinforced with Geotextile at a 10-15 cm width.

Recommendations:
*Apply Geotextile tape to all areas which can be ponded.
*Geotextile tape must be used on all upstands, curves, skylight bases and rainwater outlets.
*Geotextule tape must be used on all gutter expansion joints.
*Geotextile tape to be used on all repaired areas

Application of Geotextile Tape:

Geotextile tape is embedded into the wet liquid rubber coating avoiding creasing. Adjacent lengths of the reinforcement must overlap by 75mm. Finish with one coat of liquid rubber waterproof coating to seal the tape.

Application Instructions –

•    Apply Resincoat liquid rubber waterproof coating to your surface
•    Brush or roller just like you would apply a layer of paint 
•    Apply a single layer of this product
•    Leave to fully cure (touch dry in seconds, completely dry in 12 hours. Product reaches its full waterproofing properties within 48 hours)
•    Clean your equipment with soap and water before the product cures &
