Resincoat Damp Tolerant Epoxy Primer is suitable for use on concrete floors and vertical surfaces. Ideal for garage floors and other areas prone to damp conditions. Though this primer will seal the floor and protect against damp it should be noted this is not a solution to rising damp. The product can be used on new laid concrete after 12 days or where the substrate has a high moisture content.

Coverage

5kg should cover 25m2.

The coverage depends entirely on the surface that you are coating and how it absorbs the product. No two surfaces are ever the same.

Tip: Always allow a bit extra, an extra 2.5kg could make the difference.

Always use the correct tools and rollers this will give a better finish and the product will go further.

PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. This means the product will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the primer from the tin in this window. The primer will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes.

My experiance

I have a new garage which is approximately 20m2. I found that 5kg was not enough to cover the floor, I guess I only managed about 17m2. I think if the floor is brand new it must be very porous therefore it soaked up the resin at an alarming rate!

Used this on my damp garage floor, coated over this with garage floor paint and I've got to say it looks amazing . Highly recommned

Without some great free advice from Resincoat it would have been a disaster with my new concrete floor. Luckily they had the right product.
