Factory Floor Paint Bundle

Our Factory Floor Paint has been rigorously designed and tested by our team of epoxy paint specialists in our UK factory. It is the only formula on the market that will give you the highest quality at an affordable price. The formula has been designed to be as easy to apply for the installer as possible, smooth flowing with maximum durability in a long-lasting finish.

Applying the paint shouldn't be taxing - we understand you want to minimise downtime and keep the factory moving. As a result our expert team are on hand Monday-Friday for advice on everything from pre-purchase to post application. Our team will be happy to answer any questions you may have no matter what your experience working with epoxy paint products is.

Preparation:

Preparing your floor is an important step to ensure you achieve the desired showroom finish. We advise all substrates be vacuumed to remove and dust or dirt prior to application. Any existing coating must be completely removed if peeling or flaking and if well bonded abraded to create a texture to apply the paint. Preparing the floor mechanically is always advised (grinding) however if that is not possible please use our Etch and Clean.

Please see below for advice on what primer to use for your floor: 
• For newly laid concrete prime with Resincoat Damp Tolerant Primer
• For dusty or frail floors prime with Resincoat Deep Penetrating Primer
• For sound concrete floors prime with Resincoat epoxy primer 
• For floors subject to oil residue and grease prime with Resincoat oil tolerant primer. If the floor is heavily oil contaminated please also use Resincoat Degreaser.

Application:
We advise when applying this product the ambient temperature is at least 7°C.

1. Pour 100% of your part B tin in to part A
2. Mix resin components together with a drill and paddle for 1 minute
3. Pour content in to a paint scuttle
4. Immediately begin applying your paint with an epoxy roller frame and sleeve
5. Use a brush around the edges for a smooth finish (a second pair of hands comes in useful)
6. Once coat one has been applied leave 12-24 hours then apply second coat

PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. This means the paint will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the paint from the tin in this window. The paint will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes.

• This product is NOT UV stable therefore will discolour when exposed to sunlight. Please coat with a coloured UVR coating such as Resincoat Chemical Resistant UVR Floor Coating for a UV stable finish.
• This product can NOT be split. Taking smaller quantities from each tin, even if measured correctly, may cause issues with activating. The resin formula is chemically manufactured to work efficiently and effectively based on the exact amounts supplied in full tins for parts A & B
• This product is NOT self levelling

• The key factors for product adhesion are:
  • Surface Laitance removal
  • Compressive Strength > 25N/mm2
  • Relative Humidity of <85% for 1 coat or <90% for 2 coats of Damp Tolerant Primer
  • Effective DPM underneath the main slab
