Resincoat fast cure cutting in pack is a handy kit helping you to neatly cut in the edge of your floor. The fast cure epoxy is great for projects that require a quick turnaround with its 4 hour cure time at 10°C. This kit is great for use prior to coating your floor with our fast cure epoxy ensuring a neat, clean edge. 

 

Kit Contains:

  • 1 x 1kg Fast Cure Primer
  • 2 x 1kg Fast Cure Epoxy Garage Floor Paint
  • 3 x Paint Brushes
  • 3 x Roller Sleeves
  • 1 x 4inch Roller Frame 

 

Coverage:

One Cutting in Pack will cover approximately 3-4m²

This product has been designed for use with our fast cure epoxy floor paint. The kit is great for DIYers helping to achieve a high quality, professional looking floor. 

Application Guide

Preparation:
Before applying our garage floor paint we advise that you vacuum the area. Old paint finishes should be removed if flaking at all and if well bonded abraded sanded to create texture prior to applying the paint. Preparing the floor mechanically (shot blasting or grinding) is always advisable but if that is not possible our Etch and Clean is a good alternative.

Application:

We advise when applying this product the ambient temperature is at least 7°C.

1. Pour 100% of your part B tin fast cure primer in to part A

2. Mix resin components together with a drill and paddle for 1 minute

3. Immediately begin cutting in with your fast cure primer with the brush provided

4. Leave the primer to cure (around 4 hours)

7. Repeat steps 1 - 5 for your coat 1; fast cure epoxy floor paint

8. Leave the fast cure floor paint to cure (around 4 hours)

9. Repeat steps 1-5 for your topcoat fast cure epoxy garage floor paint

10. Leave the fast cure floor paint to cure (further 4 hours)

PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. This means the paint will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the paint from the tin in this window. The paint will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes. 

Pot life = Time to harden in pot following addition of hardener
Working Time = Time to apply product before becoming unworkable
