Preparation:
Important pre-requisites:
- Apply only in dry conditions - ideally the coating should avoid rainfall for 2 days where possible.
- 2 - 3 coats is recommended.
- New surfaces should be sound, suitably dry and free from anything that may interfere with adhesion.
- Previously decorated surfaces - remove all loose or failing material, treat and remove any organic growth, fill cracks and defects.
- Due to the amount of variation in susbstrates, we highly recommend applying to a small test area first to ensure a perfect bond and desired finish.
Application:
We recommend the weather be dry & warm whilst applying this product but not overly humid.
1. Ensure you are painting onto a sound surface with no significant cracks/defects.
2. Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
3. Begin applying the paint using a brush or roller. Please note the paint should be applied thinly.
4. Once the first coat has been applied leave to dry for 4 hours. Your brush or roller can be cleaned in tepid water ready to be reused for subsequent coats.
5. After 4 hours, apply your second coat.
6. Leave to dry for a further 4 hours & apply a third coat if required.
