Preparation:
Exterior surfaces should be mechanically prepared and in a sounds, dry condition. Any existing concrete or cement screeds must be fully cured and any laitance or loose materials removed before use. Holes or cracks should be repaired before application. To ensure the best results you should apply a relevant Resincoat epoxy primer at the end of the preparation process.
Application:
Before you begin ensure the subfloor and surrounding air temperature will not drop below 6°C during application and thorough the
subsequent 7 day full cure.
1. Pour 3.4 litres of cold, clean water into an oversized bucket
2. Gradually add the powder whilst mixing continuously with a mixing paddle attached to an electric drill
3. Once all the powder has been added continue to mix for a further 2 minutes until a lump free, smooth material is attained
4. Begin to pour the product directly on your substrate
5. Use a smooth, steel trowel to spread to the desired application thickness
6. A spiked roller may be used whilst the product is still fluid to minimise air entrapment and give a uniform finish
7. Clean tools after use with warm soapy water
Curing:
Allow to cure for a minimum of 2 hours @ 20°C prior to light foot traffic and 36 hours @ 20°C prior to vehicle traffic. 7 days cure @ 20°C is recommended prior to exposure to chemicals. Temperatures below 20°C will have a slower cure rate.
