Resincoat oil tolerant primer is an easy to apply, high strength epoxy resin sealer designed to provide an effective membrane against residual oil contamination in concrete substrates.

 

Resincoat Oil Tolerant Primer is applied in wide range of environments where there has been high exposure to oil leading to residual contamination. These conditions are common to MOT bays, engineering workshops and many other warehouse and factory spaces. Oilguard can be used as a primer for paint installations or as a simple dust-free sealer.

 

Please note that if the substrate is heavily contaminated with large amounts of oil, additional preparation or cleaning may be required. We recommend use of Resincoat Degreaser.

Usage Instructions:

Clean the surface of grease and oil and prepare in line with the Resincoat Floor Preparation Guide. Mix both parts of Oilguard together throughly until homogenous and apply directly to the floor surface. Apply any subsequent coatings once touch dry.

PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. This means the product will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the primer from the tin in this window. The primer will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes.
