We sell a wide variety of Metallic Powder Pigments for use in conjunction with our Metallic Design Coat, giving you full control and direction over the design of your metallic coating. Our recommendation is adding 100g of Resincoat Metallic Pigments (or one pre-measured pouch) to 5m2 of our clear Resincoat Design Coat for best results.

Our wide selection of Metallic Epoxy Pigments can be incorporated to transform your flooring into an elegantly decorated surface.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Base Coat: The Metallic Base coat is the foundation to your three-coat metallic epoxy system. The base coat is available in white, grey or black and creates the base of your design.

Design Coat: Design Coat is the heart of the metallic epoxy system. It is a two-part clear epoxy resin which can be pigmented with your choice of colours to create your own metallic designs. 

Metallic Pigment: Supplied in bags of 100g each, we have a selection of 15 exciting metallic pigments to choose from, allowing you to compose your own colour variations and inject your own unique personality into your floor.

Top Coat: We have two options depending on your needs. A single-pack water based top coat is exceptionally easy to install, and a two-part high gloss UVR offering which offers a robust and durable finish at the expense of a little more effort.

HOW TO APPLY:

This product is designed for use in conjunction with the unpigmented Metallic Epoxy Design Coat. Coming in pre-weighed packets of 100g, our Metallic Epoxy Pigments are to be incorporated into the fully mixed unit to create vibrant colours.

1.    After pouring 100% contents of PART B into the Resincoat Metallic Design Coat PART A tin and thoroughly mixing, add in the pigment and mix by mechanical means (a paddle on the end of a drill) until a consistent colour and texture is formed.

2.   Refer to the instructions of the Metallic Epoxy Design Coat to continue the process.

  

Good to know:

• 100g is considered sufficient for a 5m2 unit, however, experimentation may be required to achieve the exact colour and results for your desired outcome.
