Breathable Waterproof Brick & Stone Sealer

Uberseal Brick Seal Masonry Protection Cream is a unique, thixotropic water-repelling protection cream suitable for a variety of building materials. Its advanced siloxane ingredient quickly penetrates the substrate (depending on its porosity) within 30 minutes to several hours. Once absorbed, it chemically bonds to form a permanent silicone coating.

This cream appears white upon application but dries completely clear, ensuring an invisible finish. It effectively prevents liquid water penetration while remaining vapor permeable, allowing the substrate to breathe and maintain its integrity. Ideal for enhancing and protecting masonry surfaces.

 

COVERAGE RATES

3 Litre unit: will cover up to 20-25m² in a one coat application.

APPLICATION GUIDE

Preparation

Before applying, remove dirt, pollutants, efflorescence, algae, and moss using an appropriate cleaning method. This process opens the pores and capillaries of the substrate, preparing it for the Masonry Protection Cream. Take care not to damage the masonry or mortar joints during cleaning. Repair any defective mortar joints and cracks with a suitable re-pointing mortar, and seal expansion and connection joints with an elastic joint-sealing compound.

If damaging salts are present, perform a quantitative salt analysis. High salt concentrations may require additional treatment before applying Masonry Protection Cream.

Apply UberSeal Masonry Protection Cream to a small test area of the substrate before the full application. Proceed with the full application only if you are satisfied with the test results. Ensure the substrate is touch dry before starting the application.

 

Application

  1. Ensure tools and equipment are clean and dry before use, though they can be wrapped in plastic for short breaks during application.
  2. Apply UberSeal Masonry Protection Cream undiluted to the substrate in a single operation using a brush or roller.
  3. Depending on substrate porosity, apply up to 0.2 l/m² in one operation, even on vertical surfaces like ceilings, without material loss.
  4. A second application is possible at any time but usually unnecessary. Rain resistance is typically achieved within 3 hours.

 

USEFUL INFORMATION

  • Masonry Protection Cream is unsuitable for very dense, non-absorbent substrates like crystalline marble. Proper absorption of the cream is essential for optimal performance.
  • Do not apply Masonry Protection Cream to saturated substrates (e.g. after prolonged rain) or if rain is expected within 3 hours after application.
