Each roll is 0.1m x 50 linear metres in length.

DESCRIPTION

Resincoat scrim tape is used to strengthen the sealing of roof elements such as roofing felt/sheet metal, joining and fixing flashings, insulation of chimney bases, manholes, skylights and other elements that require special protection. This tape is a long lasting product that when used alongside other liquid rubber coatings can provide excellent waterproofing & protection.

APPLICATION GUIDE

Preparation

Before using this product clean and dry the roof surface to make sure it is free from dust, dirt, oils, surface flaking or any other contaminants.

Application

  • Apply Resincoat Liquid Rubber Waterproof Coating with a brush or roller to a clean, prepared surface, ensuring a coverage of at least 1 litre per square metre.
  • Apply a layer of Liquid Rubber over any splits, cracks, and joints, extending 5cm beyond each side.
  • Cut the Scrim Tape to fit the coated area, then press it into the still-wet Liquid Rubber using a paint brush.
  • Reload the brush and apply a top coat of Liquid Rubber over the mesh to complete the application.

Very good

I purchased the liquid rubber from Resincoat & was advised i would need this. You require the liquid rubber in order to secure this tape & "stick" it in place. Once applied i coated with liquid rubber & found it to be highly effective. Easily cuts to size, i opted for the larger width which covered my cracks perfectly.

Don't be deceived this stuff is very strong. I filled all cracks (around 5mm) with this & applied liquid rubber & so far so good
