The Perfect Garage Wall Paint

Resincoat Garage Wall Coating is a one pack acrylic coating. Due to its highly durable properties, it is perfect for use on interior walls that are prone to dust build up. The paint can be easily applied to breeze blocks but also works well on brick walls and clay or gypsum walls and surfaces. Please note that coverage may differ on breeze block walls as different types of breeze blocks can have different levels of porosity. Testing a small area first may help you gauge the correct level of coverage for your application specifically.

Unlike many of our epoxy products this is a one pack system which means the product does not require mixing together before use, it is ready to go straight out of the tin which makes application incredibly simple. Using a roller or brush simply apply the paint to your walls and leave to dry for 4-6 hours. Two coats are ideal to create a tough, plastic-like finish that will stand the test of time and leave your garage looking superb.

Application Guide

Preparation

Old paint finishes should be removed if flaking at all and the surface should be sanded to create a texture (also known as a mechanical key) prior to applying Resincoat Garage Wall Coating. Use a wire brush to remove any dirt from the surface of your wall. Most concrete or other monolithic surfaces require no primer before application of the paint. After the surface has been completely abraded, thoroughly sweep and vacuum the area of any remaining dust or contaminants. For more information on preparation, please see technical data sheet. 

 

Application

We advise when applying this product the ambient temperature is at least 7°C.

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before use.

2. Apply your first coat with a brush or roller (start at the corner of painting area and working inwards).

3. Leave to dry for between 4 to 6 hours.

4. Apply your second coat (two coats are recommended).

5. If you have paint remaining, the tin can be re-sealed and stored for further use.

  

Please note: When working with Resincoat Garage Wall Coating, it is possible for you to wash your tools, brushes and rollers with warm, soapy water once you have completed your project.

 

USEFUL INFORMATION

Be advised: Do not apply the product in damp, humid or extreme temperatures.

It is critical to note that coverage may differ on breeze block surfaces due to the different levels of porosity. These substrates may require more product however it is important that the product be applied thinly on each coat.

Great product

This leaves a great finish to a breeze block wall. It doesn't go far though if the breeze blocks are untreated as they soak up paint like a sponge. Also you need to ensure you use a roller with long pile to get the paint into the holes and cracks in the breeze blocks.

Customer Service

I phoned Resincoat to ask for product/technical advice before making a purchase. After some discussion I decided not to buy the wall paint and did not fancy the idea of the 2 pack that was suggested (internal walls of a large shed that is subject to fog and damp in winter). Decided to buy a product from another company. This was no reflection on Resincoat - the person I spoke to was up front and advised that my intended purchase would not be suitable. There was no hard sell. Have to say that I really appreciate honesty. Would definitely recommend this company as a result of my experience.

Garage Revitalised!

Paint used on garage walls and floor, 2 coats required but resulted in really good smooth finish. Great customer service. Only one small question which is coverage, we did not quite achieve the coverage stated on the tin, but we were painting old, bare garage walls. Very easy product to use, dried to a great finish.

High quality!

Excellent and easy to use paint. Fast drying and beautiful finish. My garage looks brand new. Used it also on concrete floor with good results. Two coats were needed. Responsive customer service as well. Happy customer :-)
