Resincoat Heavy Duty Asphalt Repair Mortar

Resincoat Asphalt Repair Mortar can be used to repair worn or damaged flooring prior to overcoating or overlay by providing a level and robust surface finish which boasts an excellent bonding strength and durability. This repair mortar can also be left as a wearing finish, which is often the case in external car parks or loading bays where a heavy duty repair to asphalt is required. It provides a fully sealed impervious surface that is incredibly hard-wearing.  
 
Besides repairing floor patches, this mortar can also be used to resurface floors, ramps and steps, and is capable of being feather-edged to match existing flooring levels.  It is easy to apply, and the formula can then be worked by a trowel to offer a smooth, pigmented finish.

10kg – 1.2m2 at 5mm thickness

Application Guide:

Preparation-
Before applying the asphalt repair mortar you must make sure the surface is clean and contaminant free, with no standing water. We advise that the area is primed with Resincoat tack coat.

Application -
1.    Prime with Resincoat tack coat
2.    Mix resin, activator and aggregate together and stir for 2 minutes
(Please note adding all of part C (the mortar blend) will result in a dry mix, you can hold off and not add all of it to have a wetter mix but this will affect coverage.)
3.    Apply asphalt repair mortar to your surface
4.    Trowel down to desired thickness ensuring the primer is still tacky
5.    Allow to cure (Usually 4 – 6 hours)
